Hey there,
Today I am going to write
about a hobby I do not have, sounds funny but we have to write about things you
do more and less. Reading has never been my hobby, but if you find a book that draws
you in then it goes the other way around, you just think about it and want to
know what is going to happen next.
Last year I read a book that
my Spanish teacher recommended to us and was it quite interesting in many ways;
how can human behavior be like, levels of conciseness and human blindness. This
book was written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley and it is called “Brave New World”.
The first thing that made me think about the book was its title in Spanish (“Un
mundo feliz”) that means “happy world”. So I thought it is about some type of
utopic world, but when I began to read it, it was completely the opposite. It felt
for me like some kind of human conscience disaster. It is about a world where
people are like machines divided from alfa to delta groups, where alfa are the
bosses and delta the least valued type of person. In a very “normal” timeline
there is one person that begins to really think and ask herself what is all
this world and well, I am not going to say more so u can read it without any spoilers.
Just read it.
